Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School will hold its graduation ceremony for the Class of 2026 on Friday, May 22, at 8:00 PM. At this time, graduation is planned to take place at Tiger Stadium.
A final decision regarding weather and the graduation venue will be made at 5:00 PM on Friday. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to the WWCHS Gymnasium. If graduation is held in the gym, graduating seniors should report to the cafeteria at 7:00 PM.
There is no ticket limit for attendance, regardless of the location. All attendees should be prepared to go through a safety screening upon entry. Noise-making devices, balloons, and large banners or signs are not permitted. We also ask that guests refrain from excessive noise while graduates' names are being called so that each senior can be recognized and celebrated.
For those attending at Tiger Stadium, please avoid the recently created city-maintained ditch areas along South Pecan Street and use caution when parking.
The ceremony will also be livestreamed on the Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School Facebook page for family members and friends who are unable to attend in person.
