The Wilkes County School System is thrilled to announce and extend our heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Deleki Lee on her appointment as the 2024-2025 Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Wilkes County. Ms. Lee's extensive background as a principal has uniquely positioned her as a valuable asset to our school system. We are confident that her leadership will usher in positive and transformative changes to the curriculum and instructional practices across our schools. Ms. Lee will contribute to various aspects, including curriculum enhancement through professional development, mentor programs, support for aspiring leaders, and assessment strategies. Ms. Lee will lead the implementation of new English Language Arts (ELA) standards and K-5 Literacy initiatives within our school system.
