Progress Reports will go home Today, September 9, 2025.

On Tuesday, we will begin our Otis Spunkmeyer Fundraiser! To help your student get started, please assist them in creating a list of family and friends who may be interested in supporting. Each student will need the name, email address, and phone number of their contacts in order to participate. Thank you for your support in making this fundraiser a success!

WWMS TITLE I Meeting.

This is a reminder that our school buses are equipped with stop-arm cameras to help keep students safe as they get on and off the bus. Under Georgia’s Addy’s Law (HB 409), drivers who pass a stopped school bus while the stop arm is extended and red lights are flashing can be charged with a high and aggravated misdemeanor, face a minimum fine of $1,000, and up to 12 months in jail. This law was created to protect children across Georgia. We appreciate your help in keeping our students safe by staying alert and always stopping for school buses.

Make sure your Wilkes County Schools app is up to date! Parents and guardians will receive text alerts prompting them to view messages in Rooms. To stay connected with your child’s teachers, download the Wilkes County Schools app and log in to Rooms. You can also manage your notification settings directly in the app.

Attention Parents!

All students will go through the metal detectors at either the main lobby or the cafeteria entrance.
All car riders must enter through the front lobby.
Clean out bookbags to remove unnecessary items.
Keep large metal items, like water bottles, easy to access or carry them separately to avoid delays.
This process has been in place since January, but we want to make sure all students, especially our new sixth graders, are familiar with the routines and expectations. We appreciate your continued support and cooperation.
