The safety of our staff and students is always our top priority. The wind predictions of 30-40+ mph exceed the safety threshold of school buses, creating dangerous conditions for our students and drivers. With this in mind, the decision has been made to make tomorrow, January 9th, a virtual learning day for Wilkes County Schools.
Students will need to log into Google Classroom or the school website for assignments. We look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday, January 10th.
Red Ribbon Week
Introducing the Wilkes County Schools' Care Room! This space is dedicated to providing essential items such as clothing, shoes, school supplies, hygiene products, and non-perishable food. You can request these items to be sent to your child's school, or you can schedule a time to personally select the items you need. To make a request, access our Student Services webpage below for the request form, or reach out to our Student Support Facilitator, Lisbeth Sanchez, at sanchezl@wilkes.k12.ga.us.

National Blue Shirt Day
Wilkes County Schools is holding a substitute teacher training on October 3rd. The training will start at 9 a.m. at the Wilkes County Board of Education. All fees are waived! Please call 706-678-2718 to register!
