Wilkes County Schools Nutrition Program will continue operations this summer, offering free meals to all children ages 18 and under - no enrollment in Wilkes County Schools is required to participate.
Families will have two convenient ways to access meals through the Summer Meals Program:
Daily and multiple-day meals service at Washington-Wilkes High School
Mobile multiple-day (7 days) meal delivery at designated sites on Tuesdays, June 3 – July 15, 2025
Parents/guardians can pick up without children present.
📌 IMPORTANT REMINDER:
If your child is participating in the Summer Program at Parks and Rec (22 Lexington Ave, Washington, GA), they will already receive:
3 take-home weekend meals, in addition to
Meals served on-site
This provides them with a full 7 meals per week.
Please do not pick up an additional multiple-day (7 days) meal bag if your child is already receiving meals at the Summer Program at Parks and Rec. This helps ensure every child who needs meals has access.
