Kiwanis Club Recognizes the Top 10%

of Junior Class


Top 10% of the Junior Class was recognized by the Kiwanis Club at a luncheon Tuesday, March 13, 2018.  Students spoke about their experiences in high school and future plans for changing the world.  Each student student received a sweatshirt from the Kiwanis Club.  Thank you Richard Crabbe and the Kiwanis Club for supporting our students and our school.

A Special Education meeting will be held for parents of children who are home-schooled or attend a private school.  This meeting will be held at the Wilkes County Education Center, located at 906 East Robert Toombs Ave., on Wednesday, November 8 at 3:00.  For more information please contact Monica Gunter at 706-678-4431.

Fall Break

Students will be released from school at 12:00 on Friday, October 6.

Monday and Tuesday, October 9 & 10 are student holidays.

School resumes on Wednesday, October 11.

Title I Parent Involvement

The Wilkes County School System will conduct an on-site review and revision of the FY 18 Parent Involvement Plan on Monday, July 31, from 2:00 until 5:00 at the Wilkes County Board of Education.  All parents and interested community members are invited to come by and review and give input into the Comprehensive Needs Assessment.
