The Wilkes County School System Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) program offers career and technical education pathways designed to prepare youth for a broad range of employment opportunities and/or further education.

Wilkes County CTAE does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex (including pregnancy and related conditions), religion, national origin, age, military status, disability, or any other legally protected status in its educational programs and activities, and provides equal access to Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) and other designated youth groups as appropriate. Lack of English language skills will not be a barrier to admission and participation.

CTAE programs are currently offered in the following career clusters:

  • Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources (includes foundations in construction, electrical wiring, welding, and mechanics)
  • Business Management and Administration
  • Information Technology
  • Education & Training
  • Health Science
